Why can't I delete a business (place) profile?

  • Place profiles must remain for historical reasons.
  • If a business was to close and the profile deleted, future users would not know if it's simply missing from wikiDOMO or no longer operating. This is not helpful.
  • If a place has closed, then it can be marked as no longer operating. This way, everyone will see that the business is closed.
  • Profiles will only be deleted if a duplicate profile mistakenly exists. Use the feedback system to notify administrators of duplicate profiles.
