I absolutely Staples at Morningside and Milner in Scarborough, and shop there all the time for myself and our family business. I always find everything I'm looking for and the staff is always friendly and ready to assist. I have never had a negative experience there. Cheers to all the staff at Staples!!!

4/10 - Poor

Service at the check-out today was poor - it was busy and only one cashier was open so they called a 2nd girl to cash who announced "next person in line"...so even though I'm the next person in line and I start to move towards the newly opened cash, the guy behind me rushes over and the cashier takes his order. When it was finally my turn - and yup, to add insult, the original cashier had already taken the 3rd person in line by now - I asked the cashier what was the point of asking for the "next person in line" if she was just going to take whoever got there first? Instead of an apology I got an excuse - she said she was not aware I was the next person - even though I clearly asked her what cash register she opening up at and she looked right at me. Yeah, I know, sometimes sh*t happens - sometimes to you and sometimes to the other guy...but I guess I just wasn't in the mood to let it slide today, so I let the store manager know they dropped the ball on customer service and I'm leaving this review. I know the cashier was not happy but then again, I'm the customer and I wasn't happy to see two people in line behind me walking out the door while I'm still at the cash register. And when I point it out, have the decency to offer up an apology and not an "it's not my fault" excuse. Service in the store was good and 7/10 - but service at check-out was only a 1/10 for an average of 4/10
